Itty Bitty Blue Gold

Last week's blue gold game was the first excuse we've had to put Kate in the Itty Bitty Fan Club shirt she received this past Christmas. It looks as though she is taking after her mom's side of the family and going to be an MSU fan. She was not happy in the ND gear! :P


Will and Macy made the "annual" trip over from Illinois to catch the spring practice game and hang out. (I think this was year 3)

After the game we met some members of the "Slug Club," including Red Mack. He was a receiver at Notre Dame and made two tackles in Super Bowl number one with victorious Green Bay. Another member of the Slug Club has missed less than a handful of ND home games since the 1960's!

(Angela's Note: There was another Slug Club member who was about 70 with a gold "ND" on his two front teeth -- An "N" on one and a "D" on the other. It was not a removable type thing! The dental hygienist in me wanted to take a picture, but Brian wouldn't let me.)
