Chowtime

Kate had several food firsts this past weekend. The first was that she managed to shove her own bottle right in her mouth! (okay, it was probably a complete fluke, as she wasn't able to replicate the feat - but, that didn't stop her from trying as in the picture below)


The second thing was her first taste of "solid" food, which consisted of some funky rice paste cereal. It looked kind of like runny grits or cream of wheat to me. Here she is looking like such a big girl in her high chair anticipating that first bite...


Yum, dig in! She actually did seem to be eating it at first, but then sort of settled on mushing it around and drooling it back out.
