"Product sold by Target, Wal-Mart reportedly causing children to fall out"
"The safety agency said it received 28 reports of young children falling out of the seats, including three who suffered skull fractures because the seats had been placed atop tables."
(sarcasm) You mean, I can't leave my infant unattended in a Bumbo seat on top of a moving vehicle, it won't change their diaper, or protect them from harm forever!?! (end sarcasm)
Is it really the product "causing" children to fall out, or might it have more to do with parenting?
"Consumers should contact Bumbo to obtain new warning label stickers and instructions for the recalled baby seats and should never use the infant seat on a table, countertop, chair or other elevated surface, the agency said."
Too bad customers won't be able to obtain common sense along with their new warning stickers...
While I do feel sorry for the children injured in this way, we're talking 28 cases out of 1 million units sold. Oh well, at least kids will get to play with some fun new free stickers.
