Yesterday afternoon we enjoyed a hog roast at our church. The hogs weren't the only ones roasting, as we've had unusually hot weather for early October in Indiana. Along with tons of food and a chance to meet our new executive pastor, there were many games and activities.
One of the things that drew a crowd was a mechanical bull. A few of us guys said, "I'll do it if you will." As the oldest of our little group, I had the "privilege" of going first.
Next was Nate, who demonstrated the horizontal arm balancing technique.
Matt demonstrates how to mount in style.
Angela was able to catch a little video of the end of my ride.
It was faster and more difficult than it appears just watching, but, not too bad with a soft landing area versus a real bull ready to gore you! The operator starts it off slow and increases the speed and difficulty as needed to toss you.
