Grand versus Great

Dinner was at Grandpa and Grandma C.'s today, so we could all see Uncle Rich and Aunt Sue (in from Virginia for a long weekend) and to celebrate Will's birthday.

Will posed a good question at dinner, "Why do parents have to be grand before they can become great, whereas uncles and aunts jump straight to great?" I think it's a great point, so Rich, Sue and all other formerly "great" aunts and uncles are now "grand" aunts and uncles.

Now, there are two men doing what they do best, synchronized dessert dishing! It just might be the only thing they take seriously all weekend. :P

Aunt Sue runs a daycare and brought Angela and Grandma C. all kinds of kid/baby stuff to borrow. Here's Angela picking out some clothes.

Uncle Rich was harassing Kent, Angela's brother, and Anne, who are engaged to be married next summer. Yep, it looks like it's going to be a two-wedding summer for the family!
