2 months

Shortest two months of my life. Following are a couple random pics from today and a thing I found about development of two-month olds.

Found the following list about "What’s It Like To Be Two Months Old?"

1. My head is a little wobbly when I am propped up. Put your hand behind my neck and head for support.
2.  I can hold my head up for a few seconds when I’m on my stomach.
3. I hold onto things for a little while.
4. I move my arms and legs. I "bicycle" with my feet when I get excited.
5. I gurgle, laugh and smile when I am happy.
6. I cry when I am hungry, scared or uncomfortable.
7. I am aware of different voices and people.
8. I stay awake during the day. But I usually take naps throughout the day.
9. I make cooing sounds.
10. I begin to stare at my hands.
11. I follow you with my eyes to watch you move around.
12. I stare at people and at things.
13. I smile at other people, not just at my mother.
14. I quiet down when I suck my fingers, a bottle or a pacifier.

So far, so good. Kate is sleeping great and generally making things much easier than the first month. She has her big two-month checkup with the doc tomorrow and gets some shots. Will be interesting to see who it's toughest on, her, mom, or me.

My guess for her height and weight tomorrow is 24" tall and 11 lbs. Angela's guess is 23.5" tall and 10 lbs. 14 oz. Angela made her guess after I had already made mine. We haven't decided if it's Price is Right rules or not.
