2nd Cousins

For the finale of our Michigan tour last week, we stopped at my mom's for a picture and tea party for the second cousins on that side of the family. To date, all the great-grandkids on this side have been girls. My sister Sarah and her husband Jeff recently stepped up to break the pattern, with a boy on the way later this year.

Elizabeth and Jenna got an early start by hitting the veggie tray.

My Aunt Carleen, Cousin Lisa, and Aunt Dee were there to keep an eye on things.
Carrie, married to my cousin John, welcomed my sister Jenny and niece Grace.
The girls were very excited to change into their dresses and get ready for the party! Grace, Jenna, and Elizabeth are all three years old and have birthdays very close together.


Here are all the ladies heading back to the where the tea party and pictures would take place, which was the lovely home and garden of my mom's neighbor.
In addition to to the three girls already shown above, second cousins Anna, age four, and Kate, age six weeks, were in the "formal" pictures taken by my mom.
