Snowed In!

In truth, we didn't even try to get out! Our area got a big winter storm, which piled up (we think) about 12 inches. We could get some more tonight, too!

Our road wasn't cleared until later morning/early afternoon, so we just stayed home. Here a few pictures of Kate's first big snow:

Kate and I have not been out of the house (except to run errands to the grocery store, etc.) pretty much all week. In fact, a few of our normal activities were cancelled earlier in the week due to icy weather. I am looking forward to the holidays so we will be around people :)

Brian cleared most of the driveway by himself (no snowblower, just good old-fashioned shoveling)...he says he'll be sore tommorrow!

Kate's cute leopard print hat was made by Grandma C.

I love Kate's hat! Angela, I second your cabin fever sentiments. :-)

Oh!!!!We miss the beautiful snow so much! It has been unseasonably warm here with many days in the mid to upper 70's and lower 80's. Very nice and warm, but hardly what you would expect around Christmas!

I had to laugh about looking forward to the holidays so you could be around people! :) I think I will just about be giddy to be around people over age 3. (during the day, anyway!) Ha! We were very much in cabin fever mode this week!
