We can do it

Had a great daddy/son date with Colin last night. Hamburgers, fries, and a hot fudge sundae at Culver's, wandering the aisles at ToysRUs, and swimming in the pool at the apartment complex. I wish I could bottle the enthusiasm in his voice and sparkle in his eyes!

It's all the little things that add up to so much fun with him...
For example, he's been into rhyming a lot lately. When we were playing in the pool, somehow we came up with the cheer/phrase - we're big brave boys and we can do it. That turned into rhyming: we can glue it, we can shoe it, and of course the funniest of all to a boy - we can poo it. Also, the Church Plumbing and Heating advertising jingle must be doing something right. He heard their ad on the radio at the pool and was singing it for quite a while after (including saying random numbers for the part where they give their phone number or address).
