At the Cove...

Last night, Kate's little league had a "night at the Cove." Kate's personal highlight was climbing up on the dugout to have her picture taken with "Swoop."

The revamped Coveleski is a treat to visit. Here are the kids enjoying a bubble machine in their carefully selected baseball outfits.

Kate enjoyed learning about the strikes, outs, hits, runs, etc. the Silverhawks would need to win (and was thrilled when their bottom of the 8th inning rally won the game). Colin loved his first taste of green cotton candy. (They both also enjoyed hearing about the cotton candy machine my family had when I was a kid.) We stayed all the way through for fireworks at the end. Result: Two tired but very happy kiddos!

As an aside, Kate has been much more confident and aggressive at t-ball this year. Colin can't wait to get his chance to play next year!
