Sick kid

It looks like we've survived our first experience with a sick kid. Kate was not her usual self Wednesday evening, as she was very fussy, rubbing her ears, snuffly nose, and even refusing to eat! (Well, what little she did eat in between crying, she promptly spit up...) She also had a fever.

In calling the doctor's office, we thought it might be an ear infection. After an office visit, turns out it was just a common cold/flu bug. After sleeping way more than normal yesterday, she seems to have snapped out of it quickly. Looks like she'll be in good shape to hang out with the family when her Aunt Cassie visits this weekend to celebrate Uncle Kent's birthday.
