Matchbox Cars!

After nearly 20 years in storage, my favorite toys of all time are being enjoyed by a new generation!

About 1/4 of the cars have a door or hood that opens. So, every car is presented to mom or dad with a request to "open dat one!"

It may be difficult to see in the picture above, but I'm showing her how to open the hood of an orange Boss Mustang.

This was a Matchbox car made in England by Lesney Products & Co with a copyright date of 1972!

I think it is fun that Kate is enjoying your cars, and also that Jacob is enjoying Debbie's dolls!

Nice job with the early math concepts...sorting by colour! We would not expect anything less. Next you could do the number of moving parts. :-)

Sweet! You guys will have to set up a tourney. You have some great long stretches of hardwood floor for racing. :-)

That's really cool!

Oh, that comment was from Lisa. I didn't realize Brian was already signed in, but I'm sure he'd agree too!

Next you'll have to teach Kate how to build some serious brackets for your Matchbox tourney. Oh, and how to build "dirty old corn" roads!
