Science, Trains, and More

Friday evening started the weekend with a bang at ETHOS Science Center for their "2014 Spooktacular: Candy the Sweet Side of Chemistry" event. Kate thought it was "the best" even with an unlucky draw of the booger flavored jelly bean at one station.

 

 

Next day, we were off to a regular favorite, the Hesston Steam Museum, for train rides and more.

Saturday evening, we met up with friends at the Prairie Winds Nature Farm for live music, animals, and exploration.

Once we finally made it back home, the kids were excited to assemble a couple of trains we had picked up at the steam museum gift shop!
