Father's Day Weekend

It was a lovely weekend! Friday night after doing some shopping, we were going to stay up to see the full moonrise. But, the sleepies hit Kate and Colin before it happened. Saturday morning Colin had t-ball.

Craft and play time at the apartment Saturday included painting and cars.

We went to see the Silverhawks on Saturday night and play in the splash-pad there. Kate likes to ham it up for the camera and dance to music.

Buying a "Baby Swoop" was the highlight for the kids!

Sunday we enjoyed a quick trip to the zoo and nearby playground. Baby Swoop had to come along and see all the animals too.

They liked brushing the goats at the zoo. Kate wanted to pet every goat in the enclosure, and she did!

Sunday afternoon we checked out the pool area at the apartment complex. It is nice, but the water was still cold...

 Dinner at Steak & Shake included an orange freeze shake that was a hit! They always like assembling and decorating the car kits there.

Kate and Colin - I feel so lucky to be your daddy. Thank you for the cards; I love you so so so so so so much too!!!
